I was wondering if the other cities are experiencing the same mass backlash that the 'Toronto Brand' is experiencing. Many Torontonians are in an outrage. An article in our national paper, The Globe and Mail crucifies the new 'logo'/'brand' as "corporate, witless & uninspired".
Perhaps re-branding a city wouldn't be such a bad thing if it involved the actual inhabitants and went beyond a silly logo and an advertising campaign. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this…
